Zahi Hawass, Will he hit the road?

The news coming from eyewitnesses in Cairo says that 4 hours ago about 200 young Egyptologists gathered in front of the SCA premises asking to be employed and others joined them demanding that he step down. The building was closed and they were not sure if Zahi was inside or not but then it was confirmed he was inside. About half an hour ago the army arrived to get Zahi Hawass out safely.

The Beginning

I was thinking for a long time to start a personal blog to talk about everything and anything including politics which has been one subject I have always trying to keep my opinions concerning it to myself or within the circle of my close friends. I need to make something clear first before I start which is: I don’t have any personal problem with anyone and I don’t mind having a dialogue with anyone whoever this person is. Also I don’t need to lie as when people lie they only do it because they are afraid of something but I am proud to say that I am not afraid of anyone or anything... Period
Anyway, I am here already and what’s happening in Egypt lately was the motivation for me to start a long delayed project.
It doesn’t matter where you are in the world but sure you have heard on the news about the turmoil in Egypt. Do you know why it is the headlines all over the world? Because Egypt is an important country not just in the past but also in the present time for many reasons and I am sure I will get to this later when I have time as it can take a long time.
Will start here with what happened in Luxor on 28th, 29th and 30th January 2011 then on 4th February 2011.
On 28th Jan. The riots were on the street and Mubarak Public library was under attack. Mobs broke through into the library and burnt air-conditions, stole computers and torn the books mainly in the Egyptology section. Few shops (Mainly souvenirs for tourists) were attacked too. Couple of water tanks and tires were set fire to near the Sphinx Avenue behind Luxor Museum and north from the Airport road.

No for lying ... Where is the right of the local people

No for destruction, No for demolishing our homes to sell the land to investors
We are respected Upper Egyptian, not thieves or terrorists ... Why we have to be the victims for the investors

A Picture of one Sphinx in the Avenue as it was the known cause for
demolishing houses (Even 300 meters away)

Started with supporters of Mubarak and against the chaos in case he stepped down immediately then a truck loaded with Anti-gov came over shouting some really bad words about Local governor and against Mubarak before they get off the truck and join the others on the ground and change their political side in one minute but one of them start to yell that he left him home todat to die and he want the local governor to resign. couple of people went to him and start to tell him that this day is not for the local governor it is for Mubarak and stability in Egypt so he said I respect the President but I don't want the local governor as he demolished our homes.
